SOS EPA – Projection Action, Thursday!

On Thursday, April 24th, at 8:00pm, The Other 98% will join the Reject and Protect week of actions to project messages against the Keystone XL pipeline directly onto the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Using a large-scale, high-intensity projector, the Other 98% will broadcast comments from ordinary Americans asking the EPA to boldly and publicly reject Keystone XL, creating a light show that will both educate and delight onlookers. Participant Conference Call: Thursday April 17th, 6 PM Eastern

This Thursday at 6 PM Eastern, there will be a conference call with Reject and Protect action leaders to talk about what to expect on Saturday the 26th, and answer questions that you may have. UPDATE: Date change for Reject and Protect

First things first: The date and time for the big Reject and Protect action is now Saturday April 26th at 11 AM, meeting on the National Mall between 7th and 9th Streets. We had to move the date because of a permitting conflict that the Parks Department failed to notify us of until this week. (More...)
